Table molton: table protectors and table pads
Table molton is doubly practical: as a table cover under a tablecloth, the material protects the table and furniture from stains. As a table pad, it also gives the elegant table a pleasant feel. But table molton offers many more advantages.
Unlike classic molton made of pure cotton, the soft table molton from allbuyone is made of a rubberised fabric, which is waterproof and non-slip coated as table protection. This prevents the table molton itself and the table linen on top from slipping. The fabric is waterproof and protects the table top from heat in the event of spilled glasses. The table mat not only protects against damage, it is also used in upmarket restaurants and catering as padding for the table surface. Unevenness is reduced, tablecloths lie without creases and appear more voluminous overall. Noises caused by crockery during serving are reliably dampened.
You can buy table molton from allbuyone on a roll, as table runners in 15 running metres, in plain white. The width varies between 85 cm and 170 cm. The table mats weigh 670 g/m² and are 2 mm thick.

However, as a 100% waterproof and easy-care alternative, the material has now been replaced by a coated fabric which, unlike conventional molton, is washable at 95°C. The rubberised polyester table cover offers enhanced protection, is non-slip and has shock- and sound-absorbing properties: the thicker table pad dampens noise more effectively when serving.
