Molton covers for safety barriers

Sleeves suitable for barrier fences are high-quality covers for gala events, premieres and red carpet events. The barrier fence sleeves are made of opaque stage molton in flame-retardant quality - B1 according to DIN 4102. The molton fabric is ideal for covering barrier fences (Mannesmann barriers) to make them opaque. Safety barriers are available in a wide range of sizes, and the sleeves can be made to measure. A practical Velcro strip is sewn onto both sides of the cover, allowing it to be easily attached to the safety barrier and closed at the sides.

Safety barrier sleeves – material

The covers are made of stage molton, a flame-retardant impregnated fabric made of 100% cotton. Stage molton has a weight of 300 g/m², the cotton fabric is opaque, sound- and light-absorbing. Please note: Fabric covers made of molton are not weatherproof and only suitable for outdoor use to a limited extent. The B1 impregnation and general appearance of the covers may be damaged by moisture and rain.

Alternatively, you can order custom-printed barrier fence sleeves made of mesh (net vinyl) or display fabric from our shop. The mesh sleeves are suitable for outdoor use.

Details on flame-retardant molton B1 according to DIN 4102

Like all our molton products, the sleeves for barrier fences have a B1 certificate for flame-retardant fabrics ( ) in accordance with DIN 4102. In addition, stage molton from allbuyone complies with classification C-s1, d0 in accordance with DIN EN 13501-1. This means that the sleeves made of stage molton B1 can also be used safely at indoor events and comply with most official fire safety regulations!

Note: After heavy mechanical stress or cleaning in the washing machine, as well as ironing or treatment in the tumble dryer, the flame retardancy of stage molton B1 covers is lost! Although the flame retardancy can be renewed using flame retardants, the covers must be professionally impregnated in order to meet the requirements for a DIN 4102 B1 certificate.

Covers in various colours

The sleeves for barrier fences are available from allbuyone in 8 colours. This means you are sure to find the right sleeves for your barrier fence for every occasion. Other fabrics and colours are also available on request. Choose stage molton B1 sleeves for your event accessories in the following colours:

Safety barrier sleeves custom-made

The safety barrier covers are made to individual measurements. As standard, we hem the molton fabric and attach Velcro tape to the left and right sides. This allows you to easily connect Mannesmann barriers or other safety barriers to each other.

The following measurements are required to obtain sleeves that fit individual barrier fences perfectly:

• External dimension a
• Outer dimension b
• Pole diameter c

Safety barriers are used at a wide variety of events to separate crowds of visitors and different event areas.

• At concerts, festivals or other large indoor and outdoor events, it is part of professional event organisation to set up safety barriers, for example to designate backstage and catering areas.
• Sturdy safety barriers are also required in the entrance areas of galas, events and festivals to control the flow of visitors.
• At sporting events such as cycling or running events, safety barriers separate spectators from the race track.
• Safety barriers are also used at VIP events such as film premieres, where they are placed along the red carpet to hold back waiting fans.

In all these locations, sleeves made of stage molton B1 enhance the appearance of the safety barriers – and thus also your event! The high-quality sleeves for barrier fences transform the bare steel tubes of the Mannesmann barriers into attractive event accessories that improve the atmosphere at any event.

Please note: Cotton covers are not weatherproof and therefore only suitable for outdoor use to a limited extent. When used outdoors, where the covers are exposed to moisture and rain, their appearance and B1 impregnation may be damaged. In this case, we recommend our outdoor-suitable mesh covers.

Printed sleeves for barrier fences

In addition to single-colour sleeves made of stage molton B1, we also offer printable safety barrier sleeves in two different materials:

• Mesh vinyl covers (mesh) 300 g/m² – printed covers made of plastic fabric
• Covers made of display fabric 210 g/m² - printed fabric covers

The printed sleeves made of mesh vinyl for safety barriers are as robust as sleeves made of stage molton and also have a DIN 4102 B1 certificate. Printed sleeves for barrier fences made of display fabric (also in B1 quality) are a lightweight fabric for the effective advertising covering of Mannesmann barriers, also primarily for indoor use. Sleeves made of mesh vinyl are also suitable for outdoor use; the plastic fabric is weather-resistant and waterproof.
