Wearing a safety vest is recommended to increase the safety and visibility of people in a simple way. You can choose between a safety vest with reflective strips all around (with or without imprint) and an identification vest without reflective strips. At events or during set-up, safety vests in different colours are used to identify specific teams (roadies, hands, etc.) – this allows the production manager to maintain an overview at all times. The discreet white vest can also be used for film and photo work and on stage without attracting attention due to its inconspicuous colour. Each white high-visibility and functional vest can be opened and closed at the front with a practical Velcro fastener and worn over normal clothing.

High-visibility vest in 8 other colours

The safety vest with or without print is also available in black, green, blue, red, magenta-pink and grey; the identification vest is available in the same colours (except grey) as well as yellow and orange. However, the coloured vests are not certified as safety vests according to DIN EN ISO 20471 (formerly EN 471).

High-visibility and functional vests with printing in up to four colours

You can have the vests individually printed in up to four colours on the chest and/or back. At events, the safety vest, printed on one or both sides according to your specifications (e.g. with a logo, symbol or lettering), serves as a useful promotional item. Particularly practical as advertising for security companies and other event service providers, as well as football teams and much more.

White safety vests can be used in a variety of ways as functional vests and identification vests. Different colours allow certain groups of people to be identified by colour. In event management, identification vests are often used to assign various tasks. This allows the production manager to maintain an overview, even if they do not know the employees, roadies and hands personally.

In addition, events are often set up in poor lighting conditions or in the dark until late at night. This can lead to dangerous situations in which helpers are difficult to see or are seen too late. To improve safety, all persons present can be equipped with safety vests.

Affordable high-visibility vests for marshals at sporting events

At sporting events, marshals are often equipped with identification vests so that they can be easily recognised by spectators and athletes. Thanks to the reflective strips, the safety vest makes the helpers clearly visible even in the dark without negatively affecting TV and video recordings.

Safety vests for security, stewards and security personnel

Security staff at events are responsible for ensuring the safety of visitors. Numbered identification vests help your visitors to quickly identify authorised persons in the event of an accident or emergency. We recommend wearing safety vests in signal colours as personal protective equipment and for increased visibility during the day. The colour white is not suitable for such purposes.

Safety vests in yellow and orange in accordance with standard EN ISO 20471

Special regulations apply in many areas for high-visibility clothing for PPE (personal protective equipment) and as high-visibility and work clothing in road traffic. In our large range of safety vests, we also offer our customers certified vests in yellow or orange in accordance with the new EN ISO 20471 standard (formerly EN471). These safety vests must have a fluorescent, bright daytime colour that is highly visible even in poor lighting conditions during the day. Tested safety vests as high-visibility clothing or as safety vests for cars are only permitted in yellow and orange.

The white safety vests do not comply with EN ISO 20471, but are ideal as identification vests with imprint.

High-visibility vests mandatory in cars

Safety vests have been mandatory in commercial vehicles in Germany for some time. Since 1 July 2014, it has also been mandatory for private cars to carry a certified safety vest. In Germany, one vest must be carried for the driver and each (regular) passenger (excluding motorcycles). Only standardised safety vests in neon yellow or orange are permitted as high-visibility warning clothing in accordance with EN ISO 20471 (formerly EN471). Safety vests offer protection in the event of a breakdown or accident. For maximum protection, you should always wear the signal vest with the Velcro fastener closed.

The safety vest in white is not certified and therefore not approved as a safety vest.
