The adhesive cloth tape coloured GT 571 is the colourful version of our most popular adhesive tape. The GT 571 is a high-quality professional adhesive cloth tape that offers excellent value for money: The duct tape has a shiny, polyethylene-coated, waterproof surface with very high abrasion resistance. Its thickness of 0.3 mm and 13% elongation also ensure high tear resistance. ely high adhesive strength (adhesive strength on steel 6 N/cm) and high immediate adhesion leave nothing to be desired, even when bonding to sensitive substrates. The coloured adhesive cloth tape GT 571 is coated with a non-corrosive rubber adhesive and can even be bonded to difficult surfaces. Cheap adhesive cloth tapes, on the other hand, often cannot be removed without leaving residue or cause discolouration or other adhesive damage. Cheap tapes often bond with the adhesive surface (e.g. through plasticisers) by migrating into it and then leaving structural changes behind.

Adhesive tape storage and processing
The adhesive surface of a cloth tape should not be touched with your hands. Please only apply duct tape to a clean, dry and dust-free surface. Pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes only achieve their full adhesive performance when sufficient pressure is applied. The GT 571 has an optimum application temperature of approx. +10°C to +45°C. It should be stored at normal humidity and a temperature of approx. +12°C to +25°C. It is best to leave the tape in its packaging until use. Direct UV radiation and temperature fluctuations should be avoided.
Smells like bacon, but isn't! Grip GT 571 is coated with a natural rubber adhesive and may have a slight smoky odour due to the manufacturing process. The smoking process removes moisture from the raw material, making it less susceptible to condensation and more stable in temperature fluctuations.
Removing coloured cloth tape GT 571
GT 571 can be removed from almost all surfaces without leaving any adhesive residue for up to 48 hours after application. Ideally, pull the adhesive tape slowly and evenly from the surface at a 90° angle. If adhesive residue remains after prolonged adhesion, we recommend using our Tesa adhesive remover, orange cleaner or even white spirit for cleaning.
