Safe floor coverings: Floor covering certified as flame retardant
With floors from allbuyone, you are on the safe side! Most of our floor coverings are flame-retardant certified. This means that the materials are approved for use in exhibition and trade fair construction, in theatres and for public events and facilities, and are available with a valid certificate.
Floor coverings that are certified as flame retardant meet the fire safety requirements for the flammability and burning properties of building materials and construction products. The floor coverings have fire protection certificates B1 in accordance with DIN 4102 (DIN standard valid until further notice) and EN 13501-1 Bfl-s1 or Cfl-s1 (certified in accordance with the European fire protection standard).

Carpet B1 flame retardant
Exhibition carpet is one of the most commonly laid flame-retardant floor coverings. Exhibition carpet is inexpensive and enhances any event, not only visually but also technically. Exhibition carpets – also known as event carpets, wedding carpets or red carpets – are popular as floor coverings at exhibitions, in VIP areas or reception areas at events, or as protective coverings for sensitive floors such as parquet or high-quality sports floors in halls and event venues.
A B1 carpet also offers a pleasant feel underfoot and good sound insulation properties – it has a sound-absorbing effect in exhibition halls or at events with large audiences and many visitors. In addition, a B1 carpet is very durable, easy to care for and quick and easy to lay.
Carpet tiles B1 flame retardant
Our range includes not only carpet rolls, but also carpet tiles. In our shop, you will find two different carpet tiles in handy square sizes of 50 x 50 cm (loop pile) or 100 x 100 cm (needle felt/needle felt ribbed). Both tiles are self-laying, flame retardant and available in up to 4 colours.
Range of flame-retardant carpets
Our range includes velour carpet B1 flame retardant, needle felt velour (B1), carpet tiles in two sizes and Rips carpet B1 in 19 colours. We have all colours in stock and the carpets can be ordered immediately with 24-hour delivery. By the way: the colour selection is much larger on request – the carpets can even be manufactured according to RAL and Pantone (minimum order quantity: 2000 m²).
We carry the flame-retardant carpet in our standard range as:
- Rips carpet B1 rolls in widths of 1 m and 2 m, length 50 running metres
- Ribbed carpet runner in lengths of 10, 20 or 30 m, in selected colours red, pink and white
- Needle felt velour rolls, roll 30 m x 2 m
- Flat felt carpet B1 with foil, roll 2 m x 50 m - with practical protective foil
- Self-lying carpet tiles B1, 50 x 50 cm or 1 x 1 m
- Printed exhibition carpet ( velour)
Dance floor B1: stage flooring, mobile dance floor and covering for sporting events
A mobile dance carpet is rolled out at many events, parties and functions. Whether as a temporary dance floor in a venue without a dance floor, as a mobile dance covering for theatre performances or in a rehearsal studio, at a wedding or outdoor party and, above all, as a high-quality floor covering for the stage, for example at concerts, dance shows or acrobatic performances. In our shop for event floor coverings, you can order two different dance floors:
- an inexpensive dance floor that can be laid on one side (2 m wide) made of PVC, flame retardant, available in 9 colours. The dance floor (thickness 2 mm, weight 1.32 kg/m²) has a fine, slightly cushioning foam backing layer on the reverse side.
- The double-sided dance floor "Marley Floor". This duo dance floor has two different coloured sides and can be danced on both sides. At 1.6 kg/m², it is heavier but, at 1.2 mm, thinner than the standard PVC dance floor.
We always have several rolls of the standard dance floor in black and white in stock and ready for dispatch. Other colours, as well as the duo dance floor in widths of 2 m and 1.60 m, are available for delivery within a few days.
PVC floor B1 flame retardant
A PVC floor B1 ( ) is a robust, sound-absorbing and slip-resistant covering for events. The floor covering is often laid at events as a protective floor. It can be rolled out in no time at all and protects expensive sports floors in sports halls and multi-purpose halls from damage and dirt. The easy-care PVC floor is also suitable for outdoor event sites, for laying out in sanitary and backstage areas, as tent flooring or as kitchen flooring for catering (especially the slip-resistant PVC Unigrip). We stock the flame-retardant PVC flooring in nine colours as standard, and it is supplied in rolls (also available by the metre in black and white). A wide range of other colours and designs of PVC floor B1 are available on request.
Artificial grass carpet for trade fairs, events and showrooms
Artificial grass carpet ( ) is an inexpensive, visually appealing and highly decorative alternative to other flame-retardant carpets and floor coverings. It is made of 100 percent polypropylene, the floor covering is hard-wearing and suitable for indoor use and also for temporary outdoor use. Artificial grass is particularly popular as a decorative floor covering, e.g. at sporting events, trade fairs or events. The flame-retardant artificial grass is available in 2 m wide rolls (length 30 m).
Fine mesh rubber mats – rubber mats as anti-slip flooring and cable protection
Fine mesh rubber mats ( ) are hard-wearing rubber mats made from SBR rubber. The mats with a grooved structure and anti-slip backing are available in two versions: as standard fine mesh rubber mats and as rubber mats with fabric insert. The highly robust rubber mats are hard-wearing and lie smoothly and securely on the floor. They are used as cable mats and anti-slip mats at events, during transport (load securing) and in workshops.
Remopla heavy duty panels – temporary floor protection systems
Remopla heavy duty panels quickly and safely create a closed, highly load-bearing surface for events on level ground. The panels made of recycled PVC are used as access routes, transport and supply routes, and as a base for container and sanitary systems, stages, safety barriers, etc. Remopla heavy duty panels are available in the shop in different designs, as panels in various sizes and with matching access ramps.
Event floor: Not a floor covering in the traditional sense
Did you have something else in mind and are looking for other heavy-duty flooring systems for indoor or outdoor use at event and festival sites, suitable for heavy articulated lorries, or for setting up a large open-air stage?
