Using adhesive tapes safely – instructions for use
Depending on the substrate, each adhesive tape reacts differently due to its individual properties. Therefore, our information can only serve as a guide and we cannot guarantee the actual adhesive performance or adhesion.
- Depending on the type, the tape can be easily torn off by hand – otherwise, a cutter or scissors can be used to make precise cuts.
- In general, the adhesive surfaces should not be touched with your fingers and should be pressed firmly onto the clean surface.
- Take care when using on natural stone and wood, as the adhesive tapes may cause discolouration or damage.
- Please store the adhesive tapes in their packaging at approx. +20°C and for no longer than 12 months. Do not expose the tape to direct sunlight; this will help it retain its colour and adhesive properties for longer.
For safety reasons, we recommend that our customers always carry out a test application of adhesive tape on a small area of the original surface under real climatic conditions before using it.
