Gaffa Advance Tape 165: A low-priced accessory for a variety of applications

This fairly thin gaffa tape (0.20 mm thick) unrolls easily from the roll and is characterised by a good snug fit / very good ability to adapt to shapes on irregular surfaces. When gluing smooth surfaces, work slowly (!), otherwise the gaffa will not lie without wrinkles. The low-priced cloth tape has an aggressive adhesive, the adhesive strength of which increases over time and which can be removed without leaving any residue for up to 24 hours. The adhesive cloth tape can be used indoors and outdoors at temperatures ranging from -50°C to +65°C.

General instructions for using Gaffa Tapes AT 165

cloth tapes adhere best to dust-free and clean surfaces. The adhesive surface should not be touched by hands during processing. Please work within the intended temperature range. Optimal bonding of Gaffa AT 165 is achieved when used within a range of +10°C to +45°C. Please note: This tape is designed more for permanent adhesive connections. It can therefore be removed without residue for a maximum of 24 hours. Caution is advised with sensitive surfaces; for example, do not stick this tape to natural wood, marble or other natural stone. When removing, pull the cloth tape off at a 90° angle, slowly and not jerkily.

Storing cloth tape correctly

Gaffa tape should not be stored for longer than 12 months. Optimal storage conditions are between approx. +12°C and +25°C and normal humidity. Leave the tape in its original packaging until use. Store open boxes in a clean, dry place. Adhesive cloth tapes should not be exposed to direct sunlight.
