The D-type demo grid is a lightweight safety barrier for cordoning off, securing and restricting areas. It features a hook and eye system welded to the sides for connection, high-quality welded struts and curved feet for stability.

The grid measures 250 cm x 110 cm (width x height) and weighs 18 kg per piece. The individual struts have a tube diameter of 33.7 mm. The demo grid is made of steel and hot-dip galvanised (according to DIN 1461). Individual safety barriers can be connected seamlessly and securely using welded-on eyelets and hooks on the sides.

Alternatively, we recommend the Mannesmann barrier type C (tube diameter 38 mm) – a heavier and therefore even more stable safety barrier. You will also find matching accessories such as barrier banners, sleeves for barrier fences, bungee cords, cable ties, etc. in our shop.

Demo grids type D – lightweight safety barriers

The demo grid type D is a lightweight, easily movable safety barrier for securing, cordoning off and limiting selected areas.

Weighing 18 kg per piece, the demo grid can be carried by one person. Thanks to the hook and eye system, any number of Mannesmann barriers can be easily connected to each other.

The steel barrier is hot-dip galvanised (DIN 1461) and weather-resistant.

The demo grid has a total length of 250 cm e (without hooks/connecting brackets) and a height of 110 cm. Type D safety barriers have relatively fine struts (tube diameter: 3.4 cm), with a distance of 10.5 cm between the struts. A tactile strip (e.g. for reflectors, etc.) can also be attached to the demo grid type D as an option.

We would like to point out that Mannesmann barriers, like other barrier devices, may have minor visual defects due to the manufacturing process. Unless this affects their use, we cannot accept this as a reason for complaint.
