The high-quality, tear-resistant material – frontlit PVC floor B1 500 g/m² – is weatherproof, windproof and UV-stable for 1-3 years as well as flame-retardant B1 certified (DIN 4102). We reserve the right to print the base material of the 500 g tarpaulins from other manufacturers as well, which is why some of the information (e.g. maximum tensile strength, tear resistance) may vary.
Note: The information on weather and UV resistance has been determined in studies under Central European conditions. Use in regions with different climatic conditions (high humidity, strong UV radiation), such as in southern European countries, tropical areas and desert regions, as well as in areas with heavy air pollution or at high altitudes, will cause a faster ageing process.
Barrier banners in certified B1 quality
Our PVC frontlit pvc tarpaulins are B1-certified according to DIN 4102 and therefore flame retardant. This means that the barrier banners can also be used indoors, at trade fairs, etc., because with the B1 certificate they meet the fire protection requirements that apply at most public events.
Which safety barriers are the banners suitable for?
Safety barriers, Mannesmann barriers, police grids or Hamburg grids – there are many types of safety barriers, and the dimensions are just as varied. Our three formats are matched to the common formats.
- Safety barriers (Mannesmann barriers) 200–250 cm wide (length)
- Safety barriers come in different sizes depending on the manufacturer, but most are 2 to 2.5 m wide.

Important: Many Mannesmann barriers have rounded upper corners. This means that a rectangular banner can only be tensioned if it is slightly narrower and/or lower. Therefore, you should order the banner for Mannesmann barriers correspondingly smaller!
- Police grids (hamburger grids) with a width of approx. 200 cm (length)
- Most police grids are about 2 m wide, for which the smallest banner is suitable.

Please note: Because of the supporting struts on the back of police grids, it is not possible to mount the banner on the back or on both sides. The banner can only be mounted on the front, above the base plate.

Note on checking print data: If you have booked our basic print data check, we will automatically make minor corrections for you. If the resolution or similar is not correct, we will actively contact you.

Optionally, you can book our personal premium graphics service. This will be charged separately based on the time taken (€44.50 for each half hour or part thereof). To do so, please leave us a short note in the order notes at the end of the order. - The barrier banners will be sent to you after production.
Exception: advance payment. In this case, we will not start production of your printed matter until we have received your payment. Accordingly, the delivery date depends on when we receive your payment

Suitable accessories for mounting
The barrier banners are equipped with eyelets at 50 cm intervals all around. For mounting on crowd control barriers or similar, we recommend:
- bungee cords – for flexible mounting, can be removed and reused
- cable ties – for tight lashing, single-use
Notes on delivery and storage
The barrier banners are delivered rolled as standard, which enables space-saving, wrinkle-free shipping. It also protects the print from scratches.
For storage, we recommend that you also roll up the banner, preferably with the print on the inside. This way, the banner is well protected from kinks, creases and scratches. Always make sure that the barrier banner is absolutely dry, otherwise mould may form.
