The cable protector trafficable is an affordable and yet robust cable duct made of heavy-duty hard rubber. T he floor-mounted cable protector is available in two versions:. The cable protector trafficable is designed to protect your cables, pipes and hoses. It comes with five cable channels (each 35 mm wide x 30 mm high) and as a three-channel cable protector with channels that are each 50 mm wide and 45 mm high. The outer dimensions of the rubber cable protectors with a polyethylene cover are as follows: 50 cm and 91 cm, or 95 cm incl. connector (width x length). The cable protectors are only 5 or 7 cm high to prevent tripping.
The load capacity of the cable protector trafficable is a maximum axle load of 5 t for both versions and is thus primarily suitable for car traffic and can be driven over by appropriate lorries. The cable protector material is not suitable for heavy goods traffic.
The tongue and groove connector system ensures quick and easy installation. The cable protectors are easily recognisable in the colours black and yellow. Using the rubber cable protectors, equipping with cables and hoses
Both cable protectors made of hard rubber are connected to each other by a simple tongue and groove locking system. Each element has two pins on one side and the matching recess for receiving these pins on the other. With the help of this system, any number of cable protectors can be connected to each other.
First connect as many cable protectors as necessary to achieve the length to be bridged. As soon as all cable protectors are connected to each other, you can open the yellow cover of all cable protectors. Now that all cable ducts are exposed, the cables, lines or hoses can be routed in them.
Full protection]and maximum load capacity can only be guaranteed if the cables are laid properly. Therefore, please make sure that the cable protectors are connected to form a closed unit and that they are flush. The lid should lie flat on the base to avoid the trip protection becoming a tripping hazard. Please also make sure that the individual components are at the same height and that there are no major unevennesses between the individual cable ducts. This is the only way to ensure a seamless connection. The cable protectors are not suitable for bridging shafts, trenches or other depressions. In addition, no platforms, trusses, scaffolding or other components may be supported on the cable protectors.
