Pro Glow is a self-illuminating adhesive tape from the manufacturer ProTapes. When the phosphorescent tape is charged by a light source, it glows independently in the dark with high luminosity for up to 10 hours . Perfect for use as marking tape (e.g. floor marking tape) or as warning tape or safety tape, for example for obstacles or danger spots – and of course also for effects in the dark.
The luminous tape (phosporising tape) has high immediate adhesion and extremely high adhesive strength (10.5 N/cm!), and sticks securely in a very wide temperature range from -28°C to +104°C. The self-illuminating adhesive tape is particularly abrasion-resistant and robust, and impresses with its extremely high tear resistance and a breaking load of 87 N/cm. The 0.38 mm thick yet flexible PVC tape has a smooth, matt surface. In bright light, the colour of these self-luminous adhesive tapes is light yellow, while in the dark the tape glows bright green. Pro Glow is weatherproof and waterproof and can be used indoors and outdoors. It can be removed from most surfaces over a long period of time.

The warning tape complies with the DIN 67510 standard for photoluminescent pigments and products and with Class B of the PSPA (Photoluminescent Safety Products Association). This standard describes the requirements for long-lasting photoluminescent safety markings. According to this standard, the luminance of photoluminescent products must be at least 20 mcd/m² 10 minutes after the light source has been switched off.
