The Artist Tape (Console Tape) from the manufacturer Pro Tapes is a premium adhesive tape made of paper, which is particularly easy to remove from the surface without leaving any residue and can therefore even be used on very sensitive surfaces. The Console Tape is available in 5 colours and 4 neon colours. In the neon colours, the fluorescent flat crepe (flatback paper) has an exceptionally high luminosity – in daylight, but especially under UV light (UV active adhesive tape).
The high-quality paper tape has a very high adhesive strength (6.2 N/cm!) with medium initial adhesion – it can be repositioned and applied multiple times to most surfaces. The tape is easy to roll out and tear by hand, can be shaped well and has very high tensile strength (tear resistance 52 N/cm!) and edge strength. The console tape is matt in every colour, does not reflect and can be written on with any pen.

Artist tape vs. masking tape – what's the difference?
Both terms refer to colourful paper adhesive tapes. Artist tape, a single-coloured adhesive tape, is an industrial adhesive tape and is particularly suitable for eye-catching markings at events or for professional art and decoration – so-called tape art (from the English word "art"). Masking adhesive tape, on the other hand, often already has a pattern/design on the surface. It is an adhesive tape for hobby use and is mostly used for crafting and decorating in the private sphere.
