The greenbox fabric is hemmed on three sides and has a hollow hem/tunnel hem at the top, through which pipes, curtain rods or ropes can be inserted for fastening. The greenscreen molton is made of 100% cotton in a heavy 300 g quality. Its surface is double roughened, matt and does not reflect light – ideally suited as a background fabric in the studio for film and photography. The greenscreen background is B1 flame retardant certified according to DIN 4102. The greenscreen fabric has the RAL colour value 6037 (approximate value) and is ideal for chroma keying.

Greenscreen fabric made of B1 stage molton

Greenscreen B1 flame retardant

Greenscreen Molton for Greenbox
Molton greenscreen is suitable as a green screen fabric in the studio for photographing for the chromakey process. The fabric is absolutely reflection-free, it allows for even illumination and keying with the best filter result in the highest quality.
As a photo studio accessory, the green stage molton is used in product photography and in portrait photography as a photo background. Because the colour green rarely occurs on the human body, the green backdrop can be replaced by any background during post-processing.
Green screen in film and TV studios
Greenscreens are also used a lot in TV studios and for big film productions: whether it's a weather report or a stunt scene, the green studio background makes it possible to add any background afterwards.
Important note on the greenscreen colour code
There is no single correct colour code for the greenscreen process (chroma keying). What is important is a bright green that reflects light particularly well.
Otherwise, the right lighting and a correctly adjusted camera are crucialfor successful chroma keying. The background must be evenly illuminated and the camera must be correctly adjusted using a waveform monitor and spot metering.
