Solvotex PES banners: high-quality textile advertising banners for indoor and outdoor use

Solvotex is a densely woven, fine material made from 100% polyester. The banner fabric impresses with its stable structure, soft textile feel and excellent tear resistance.

The PES banner material is versatile and suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Solvotex is particularly popular for coverings and cladding, hanging decorations, banners, foldable large-scale advertising and display systems. Solvotex is classified as flame-retardant B1 and flame-retardant Bs1-d0 ( ) (according to EN 13501-1) and is therefore also approved for indoor use at trade fairs and public events.

Printing on Solvotex – it's that easy

With our configurator, you can customise advertising banners made of Solvotex in just a few steps, and we will then print the polyester fabric according to your specifications.

Ordering printed Solvotex is easy:

Give each individual banner a name (optional) – this name will appear on all documents and you will always have an overview.
Specify the width and height.
Select the desired finishing for the top, bottom and side edges – there are various standard finishes to choose from.
Save the product.
Then place your finished advertising banner in the shopping basket and complete your purchase or add another item.
After successful purchase, you will receive an order confirmation for your textile banners and a link to our data sheet, which contains important information regarding the creation and transmission of your print data.
You will then receive a second email with an order confirmation and a personalised link for uploading your print data.
The order confirmation also contains the expected delivery date*.
We will check your data for printability. We will automatically correct minor errors for you. If the resolution or similar is incorrect, we will contact you. This service is free of charge for you!
As soon as the data is correct, your products will go to print.
The textile banners will be shipped to you after production.

*Exception for prepayment: In this case, we will only start production of your printed materials after receipt of payment. The delivery date is therefore dependent on receipt of payment.

4 cm flat hem (for diameters up to 2 cm)

Solvotex can be printed seamlessly up to a width of 4.8 m. However, larger formats are also no problem; individual strips are joined together at the back to create a large advertising banner!

Solvotex printed in 6c digital print – information about print quality

We print Solvotex in our event print shop using 6c digital printing, single-sided in high-resolution quality. The material enables detailed printing with strong colours, although the polyester means that the colours are slightly less bright than on PVC banners, for example. The densely woven base material is white and minimally translucent. The surface is silk matt and low-reflective.

Good to know: Solvotex is stable thanks to its grammage and dense weave, yet still slightly elastic and soft. The high-quality print is almost completely free of white breakage on the polyester fabric ( ), which means that the material can be folded to save space.

Please note: Due to the manufacturing process, new PES banners have a chemical odour from the printing, which dissipates after thorough ventilation.

Note: The information on weather and UV resistance has been determined in studies conducted under Central European conditions. Use in regions with different climatic conditions (high humidity, strong UV radiation), such as in southern European countries, tropical areas and desert regions, as well as in areas with high air pollution or at high altitudes, will cause a faster ageing process.

Information on outdoor suitability and weather resistance

Solvotex is generally suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The polyester banner does not absorb water when wet and remains clean. Please note that the material is not windproof and has not been specially treated to be UV-resistant. Under optimal conditions, the manufacturer specifies that the product can be used for up to 6 months. However, weather conditions, sunlight and wind can shorten this period.

Indoor use is possible for up to 5 years.

Notes on transport and storage

The PES banners are therefore delivered folded as standard. Shipping on rolls is also possible on request. Solvotex is foldable ( ) and relatively resistant to creasing. Thanks to its slightly elastic properties, creases disappear when the banner is mounted.

For storage, we recommend storing the PES banners flat and covering as much of the surface as possible, ideally at 18°C to 25°C and relative humidity (40-65%), without direct sunlight.
