Opaque display fabric 250 g/m² is a high-quality, opaque polyester fabric with a blockout coating on the reverse side, combining absolute light and opacity with brilliant, colour-intensive print quality. The fabric has a smooth, silk-matt surface that is non-reflective and has a textile feel.
The Blockout display fabric is B1-certified according to DIN 4102 and is therefore approved for indoor use. The textile material is less suitable for outdoor use. The hard-wearing display fabric is used in trade fair construction and event management for opaque fabric banners, textile banners, coverings, decorative fabrics and much more.

Display fabric in blockout design is a popular material for high-quality cloth banners, textile banners, for covering mobile exhibition walls, wall frames and more. The opaque polyester fabric with black blockout coating on the back impresses with a flexible, textile feel and a silky matt, smooth surface structure.
We print display fabric using 6c digital printing (thermal sublimation printing), which offers banner printing in the highest quality, high resolution, colour-intensive and rich in detail. To ensure perfect printing results, we also carry out a free data check on your print data.

With our configurator, you can configure display fabric yourself in just a few clicks, and we will then print your desired product according to your specifications.
- Give each individual display fabric a name (optional) – this name will appear on all documents and you will always have an overview.
- Specify the width and height.
- Select the desired finishing for the top, bottom and side edges – you can choose from a range of standard finishes.
- Save the product.
- Then add your finished display fabric to your shopping basket and complete your purchase or add another item.
- After successful purchase, you will receive an order confirmation and a link to our data sheet, which contains important information regarding the creation and transmission of your print data.
- You will then receive a second email with an order confirmation and a personalised link for uploading your print data.
- The order confirmation also contains the expected delivery date*.
- We will check your data for printability. We will automatically correct minor errors for you. If the resolution or similar is incorrect, we will contact you. This service is free of charge for you!
- As soon as the data is correct, your products will go to print.
- The display fabric will be shipped to you after production.
*Exception for prepayment: In this case, we will only start production of your printed materials after receipt of payment. The delivery date is therefore dependent on receipt of payment.

Printing advertising banner fabric – information about the print quality of display fabric
Textile materials such as display fabric are particularly suitable for printing as they absorb the printing ink. Display fabric is printed using 6c sublimation printing (thermal printing), whereby the ink is printed onto the fabric and then vaporised under heat. This process results in a particularly colour-intensive print image with rich colours and detailed motif reproduction.
The maximum print width is 2.8 m (seamless print), larger formats are also possible by sewing individual fabric panels together.
Display fabric can be printed on one side. The black coating on the reverse side makes the material completely light- and opaque. The surface is silk matt and non-reflective.
Display fabric with customised finishing and in the format you require
Various finishing options are available for display fabric, suitable for different purposes.
The following options are available:

- The display fabric is cut to your desired format with straight cut edges.
This finish is suitable if you want to attach the cloth banner with clamping strips, staple it or process it further in some other way.

- Here, the fabric is also cut to your desired format with straight cut edges. The edges are finished with a double safety seam for clean, stable edges.

Hemmed with trim tape
- With this finish, the display fabric is simply hemmed (flat hem) and reinforced on the back with a trim tape. The colour of the trim tape (textile tape) varies depending on the print colour and is selected by our print shop to match. This makes the edge stable and protects it from tearing.

Hemmed with binding tape and eyelets (only in the corners)
- Here, the cloth banner is also provided with a simple flat hem and reinforced at the edges with a colour-coordinated trim tape (textile tape). In addition, the material is eyeleted in the corners with metal eyelets with an inner diameter of 12 mm.

Hemmed with binding tape and eyelets (at 50 cm intervals)
- Here, the display fabric is finished with a flat hem and reinforced on the back with a trim adhesive-tape/textile tape. In addition, the material is eyeleted at intervals of 50 cm on the edge of your choice. The metal eyelets have an inner diameter of 12 mm.

With hollow seam 4 cm, 8 cm or 10 cm wide
- With the "with hemstitching" finish, you receive the display fabric with a hemstitching on the selected edge for threading ropes, rods, slats, etc. Ideal for hanging cloth banners and decorative banners in sales rooms, at trade fairs and events. You can choose between three sizes:
- 4 cm wide hemstitching – for ropes and thin rods up to a diameter of 2 cm
- Hollow seam 8 cm wide – for thicker rods and slats up to a diameter of 4 cm
- Hollow hem 10 cm wide – rods up to 5 cm in diameter
- With the "with hemstitching" finish, you receive the display fabric with a hemstitching on the selected edge for threading ropes, rods, slats, etc. Ideal for hanging cloth banners and decorative banners in sales rooms, at trade fairs and events. You can choose between three sizes:

Information on UV and weather resistance: Indoor display fabric can be used for up to 5 years. Some manufacturers specify up to 3 years for UV and weather resistance. However, the material is less suitable for outdoor use, as the fabric can become saturated with rain and print dust can affect the motif when wet.
Note: The information on weather and UV resistance has been determined in studies under Central European conditions. Use in regions with different climatic conditions (high humidity, strong UV radiation), such as in southern European countries, tropical areas and desert regions, as well as in areas with high air pollution or at high altitudes, will cause a faster ageing process.
Information on delivery and transport
We deliver the opaque display fabric rolled up; rolls longer than 6 m are delivered folded.
For storage without creases or folds, we recommend rolling the fabric back onto the roll. Make sure that the display fabric is dry to prevent mould growth.
