Display fabric in blockout stretch design is a shape-retaining, crease- and wrinkle-free fabric for indoor use. Thanks to its rubber coating on the reverse side, the material is completely opaque and light-tight, while the smooth, silk-matt surface can be printed in high quality with intense colours and rich detail.

The elastic polyester fabric with stretch content is ideal for advertising banners, exhibition banners, blockout banners, truss coverings and all applications in stage and exhibition construction where a light-tight material is required. The stretch content makes this display fabric particularly elastic and supple, allowing it to be stretched perfectly and adapt well to different shapes.

With our configurator, you can configure the blockout display fabric yourself in just a few clicks, and we will then print your desired product according to your specifications.

Give each individual product a name (optional) – this name will appear on all documents and you will always have an overview.
Specify the width and height.
Select the desired finishing for the top, bottom and side edges – you can choose from a range of standard finishes.
Save the product.
Then place your finished display fabric in the shopping basket and complete your purchase or add another item.
After successful purchase, you will receive an order confirmation and a link to our data sheet, which contains important information regarding the creation and transmission of your print data.
You will then receive a second email with an order confirmation and a personalised link for uploading your print data.
The order confirmation also contains the expected delivery date*.
We will check your data for printability. We will automatically correct any minor errors for you. If the resolution or similar is incorrect, we will contact you. This service is free of charge for you!
As soon as the data is correct, your products will go to print.
The display fabric will be shipped to you after production.

*Exception for prepayment: In this case, we will only start production of your printed materials after receipt of payment. The delivery date is therefore dependent on receipt of payment.

The stretchy, opaque display fabric is extremely versatile. The fabric is attached in different ways depending on the intended use. You can customise the material to suit your application using our configurator.

We print display fabric seamlessly up to a width of 2.8 m. Larger formats are also no problem; individual panels are sewn together at the back.

Blockout fabric with excellent, colour-intensive printing

As a textile fabric, display fabric is particularly easy to print on, as fabric generally absorbs printing inks well. Display fabric is printed using 6c sublimation printing (thermal printing), whereby the ink is printed onto the fabric and then vaporised under heat. This results in a print image with particularly intense, rich colours ( ) and detailed motif reproduction.

The maximum print width for seamless printing on display fabric is 2.8 m. Larger motifs are welded together from individual fabric panels on the reverse side.

The opaque fabric is printed on one side, while the reverse side is coated with an opaque black rubber coating to prevent show-through. The surface of the display fabric is silk matt and non-reflective.

We customise display fabric according to your requirements

Whether classic with eyelets, with a hemstitch or simply cut, there are various finishing options available for display fabric – individually tailored to your intended use.

Display fabric cut with straight edges
- Here, the display fabric is simply cut with a straight edge and without a hem.
Hemmed with double safety seam
- Here, the fabric is also cut to your desired size, the edges are then hemmed and sewn with a double safety seam (two parallel seams). This makes the fabric stable and protects it from tearing.
Hemmed with binding tape (reinforced edges)
- Here, the display fabric is simply folded over (single hemmed). A reinforcing trim tape (textile tape) is then sewn onto the back. Our print shop will select the colour of the textile tape to match the print colour of your product. The edge reinforcement with trim tape provides the display fabric with optimum protection against tearing.
Hemmed with binding tape and eyelets (only in the corners)
- With this finish, the fabric is simply hemmed as described above and reinforced on the back with a colour-coordinated trim tape (colour varies depending on the print colour). In addition, the display fabric is eyeleted in the corners (metal eyelets, inner diameter 12 mm) – ideal for attaching smaller textile banners, advertising banners or similar.
Hemmed with trim tape and eyelets (at 50 cm intervals)
- If you choose this finishing option, you will receive your display fabric hemmed and reinforced at the edges (with binding tape on the reverse) and with eyelets at 50 cm intervals. The inner diameter of the eyelets (metal eyelets) is 12 mm. The binding tape protects the eyelets from tearing, even under heavy loads.
  This finishing is ideal for all cloth banners, textile banners, advertising banners and similar items.
With hemstitching 4 cm, 8 cm or 10 cm wide
- Here, the display fabric is finished with a hemstitch on the edge of your choice. The hemstitch allows ropes, poles, wooden slats, etc. to be pushed through. The hemstitch allows the fabric to be stretched evenly.
  The hemstitch is available in three different diameters, measured when flat:
  - 4 cm wide – this hemstitching is ideal for thin ropes, wooden and metal rods with a diameter of up to 2 cm
  - 8 cm wide – this width is ideal for thicker rods and ropes with a diameter of up to 4 cm
  - 10 cm wide – this hemstitching fits pipes (ø 50 mm), Layher rods (ø 48.3 mm) and other rods and slats up to 5 cm in diameter

Information on UV and weather resistance: Some manufacturers specify a blanket 3-year guarantee for UV and weather resistance. This information is not always realistic for textile printing materials. Display fabric can be used indoors for up to 5 years, but we only recommend short-term use outdoors, as the fabric can become saturated with rain and print dust can affect the motif when wet.

Note: The information on weather and UV resistance has been determined in studies conducted under Central European conditions. Use in regions with different climatic conditions (high humidity, strong UV radiation), such as in Southern European countries, tropical areas and desert regions, as well as in areas with high air pollution or at high altitudes, will cause a faster ageing process.

Note on care, delivery and storage of display fabric

The opaque display fabric is delivered rolled up; rolls longer than 6 m are delivered folded. We recommend rolling up the fabric for storage to prevent creasing. Make sure that the fabric is completely dry to prevent mould growth.

Please note: Display fabric is generally washable, but the opaque version is not. The opaque rubber coating would not survive a wash cycle undamaged.
