The cable ties with Velcro fastening have a soft fleecy side (polyester) and an adhesive side (nylon). When the two sides are joined, the hooks on the adhesive side catch in the loops on the fleece side, forming a firm connection. The cable velcro hasa high tensile strength and can withstand up to 2.5 kg/cm² , but can still be easily opened by hand. This is due to the advantageous holding force of 300 g/cm².
The hook and loop cable ties are made of odourless, lint-free material . The Velcro fastener extends over the entire surface on both sides. This means that the Velcro tape can be shortened as desired and enables adhesion over the entire Velcro tape. A word about the tensile strength of plastic and Velcro cable ties: the tensile strength of Velcro ties is high for the material and sufficient for many applications. However, the tensile strength of Velcro binders is not always sufficient to tightly tension banners, tarpaulins or similar, or to fasten heavy cable bundles. In this case, we recommend our standard plastic cable ties.
Note:. If you use the hook-and-loop tape in conditions where it may be exposed to mud, snow, sand and other contaminants that can close the hook-and-loop fastener, the adhesive properties will be reduced.
