The material of the cable ties – polyamide (nylon 6.6) – is a plastic that remains very dimensionally stable and resistant even when exposed to heat. The ties have precise internal teeth and impress with their reliable hold and easy handling. As a mounting material, they can withstand heavy tensile loads of approx. 8 kg per piece. The cable ties are not re-usable and can only be opened with a tool, e.g. scissors or pliers, after closing.

Note: The coloured cable ties have limited resistance to strong acids and are not permanently UV-stable or weather-resistant. The black cable ties are an exception; these are resistant to UV radiation.

The 100 mm cable ties are self-extinguishing in accordance with fire propagation class UL94 V-2 and also comply with RoHS II (legal directive on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment). As a safe accessory, the ties are therefore ideal for indoor events.
