The American company ProTapes sets standards for adhesive tapes that are used specifically in the arts and entertainment industry. Pro Gaff Tape 24 mm is a premium cloth tape that has made a name for itself in the industry thanks to its high quality and absolutely professional workmanship. Pro Gaff has a very high adhesive strength of 8.7 N/cm, it has high immediate adhesion, but is also gentle on sensitive surfaces. The high-quality adhesive can be removed without leaving any residue for at least 3 weeks. The gaffer tape also features a very fine fabric with a high thread count, making it extremely tear-resistant (breaking load 87 N/cm) but also particularly supple. With its excellent conformability, the gaffer tape can be applied to a wide variety of different surfaces – around edges, corners and curves, but also wrinkle-free on smooth surfaces. Another advantage is the adhesive tape's excellent tearability: Gaffa tape can be torn cleanly by hand both lengthwise and crosswise. Storing, applying and removing gaffa tapes
The surfaces should always be clean, dry and free of dust. Pull the adhesive cloth tape slowly off the roll and press it firmly onto the surface. When applying, please be careful not to touch the adhesive surface with your hand. The optimum application temperature for this duct tape is between +12°C and +22°C.
When removing any adhesive tape, always pull the tape off slowly and not in jerks, ideally at a 90° angle. If any adhesive residue remains on the surface, it can be heated with a hair dryer or removed from non-sensitive surfaces with cleaning solvent, orange oil cleaner or Tesa adhesive remover .
Please always leave the duct tapes in their original packaging until use. The optimal storage climate is at normal humidity and a temperature of around 20°C. Pro Gaff Gaffa Tapes should not be stored for more than 12 months.
