The fine masking tape is a narrow masking tape (19 mm wide) made of impregnated, tear-resistant fine masking paper. It has a matt, creped surface in light yellow. The adhesive tape is tear-resistant and very adaptable to different shapes. The fine masking tape can also be written on.
The painter's tape has a high-quality natural rubber adhesive, is characterised by low initial adhesion and medium adhesive strength (adhesive strength on steel 2.6 N/cm) and can be repositioned as desired. The crepe adheres to many surfaces and can be removed without leaving any residue after a maximum of 2 weeks.
The narrow masking tape has good temperature resistance and high moisture resistance. When used as masking tape, it prevents paint from running underneath. It is used as protective tape for painting and covering work, and fine masking tape is also very popular in event technology and stage construction for marking, labelling, masking, etc.
You can buy the fine masking tape with 19 mm x 50 m per roll at a low price and with fast delivery in the allbuyone shop. Alternatively, we recommend the slightly wider masking tape with a width of 50 mm.
Fine masking tape
Fine masking tape is an adhesive tape made of impregnated, tear-resistant crepe paper. The masking tape is tough, water-resistant and can also be written on. Crepe adhesive tape is traditionally used as masking tape for painting and covering work. However, the 19 mm narrow fine masking tape is also popular for marking and labelling. The light yellow crepe masking tape does not stick too strongly and can be removed without leaving any residue for up to 2 weeks – perfect for temporary labelling, marking, " " and similar applications.

Fine crepe tape in use – more than just masking tape
Painter's tape is a classic painting tool, but it has many more uses than just this one:
- Standard masking tape / protective tape: for masking work / painting work, fixing cover foil, covering and masking edges, steps, walls, door and window frames
- Reflection-free lettering tape e.g. for labelling cases or mixing desks
- ly for bundling cables and wires without leaving any adhesive residue
Sticking fine masking tape – application
You should never touch the adhesive surfaces of the adhesive tapes with your hands. The flat crepe does not have high immediate adhesion or adhesive strength, so its position can be corrected again after sticking. Nevertheless, press the protective tape down firmly and stick it down with tension – this will prevent paint, varnish or paste from getting under the crepe paper. The immediate adhesion of the adhesive tapes also depends on the substrates and their surface properties.
The fine masking tape has very good tearability, both lengthwise and crosswise. The longitudinal tear is not completely straight.
Tips and information on painter's tape
Do not pull the fine masking tape off abruptly and always do so carefully. Any paint or varnish residue on the masking tape should be allowed to dry completely before removal to prevent smearing on the surface.
Caution: If left in place for too long, parts of the substrate material, such as paint or wood, may splinter and stick to the fine masking tape!
The manufacturer's adhesion guarantee refers to the perfect condition of the adhesive tape itself. We pass on all product information to our customers to the best of our knowledge and belief. However, as individual working conditions (environmental influences, surfaces and processing) are beyond our control, we cannot accept any liability for any damage that may occur.
Storage of fine masking tape
Store the adhesive tapes in their packaging at a relative humidity of 60% and a room temperature of approx. +12°C to +25°C. Protect the masking tape from direct sunlight. Any opened rolls of fine masking tape should be stored in a dry and clean place.
