Gaffa AT 165 is the affordable adhesive cloth tape from Advance Tapes. This entry-level adhesive tape has a fairly coarse fabric and is characterised by high adhesive strength ( adhesive strength on steel 4.0 N/cm) and high immediate adhesion . The longer this adhesive cloth tape with aggressive adhesive adheres, the stronger the adhesive strength becomes. The adhesive tape with a glossy, poly-coated surface is abrasion-resistant and waterproof when bonded .
The universal Advance Tape AT 165 is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. This cloth tape is classified as an inexpensive accessory for event supplies. It is suitable for quick fastening and fixing as well as for repairs and waterproof sealing. We recommend the tape primarily for permanent bonding on non-sensitive surfaces. This gaffa tape can be removed with minimal residue within 24 hours.
The adhesive tape is available in rolls of 25 m in length ( , width 50 mm) in black and white . The 25 m rolls require a minimum order quantity of full boxes of 24 rolls. Gaffa AT 165 – standard accessory for a wide range of event applications
As an "entry-level model" from Advance Tapes, this gaffa can be used for a variety of applications in stage and exhibition stand construction. The rather coarse and thin fabric (thickness 0.20 mm) is very adaptable in shape, which is why the tape clings well to irregular surfaces. However, if you want the tape to stick to smooth surfaces without wrinkles, you have to work slowly!
For bonding (indoor and outdoor) in a wide temperature range from -50° C to +65° C, it is ideal as a standard tape with aggressive adhesive on insensitive surfaces. The adhesive strength of this gaffa tape increases over time. The adhesive tape can therefore be removed without leaving residue for a maximum of 24 hours .

Information on how to use the tapes
The adhesive cloth tape Gaffa AT 165 has a strong adhesive with high adhesive strength. Therefore, do not touch the adhesive surface of the cloth tape with your hands and stick the tape onto a clean surface that has been cleared of dust. Press the adhesive tape on firmly after sticking and do not let it stick longer than necessary. The application temperature of this gaffa tape is between +10° C and +45° C. Please note that the duct tape can only be removed for about 24 hours without leaving residue – please remove it slowly and evenly!
Gaffa AT165 can withstand short-term temperature fluctuations between -50°C and +65°C. It is resistant to water and other weather conditions and can therefore be used both indoors and outdoors.

How do I remove adhesive tape?
Tesa accessories:. If adhesive residue remains after an application, e.g. because the cloth tape was left on the surface for too long, it can be removed with the Tesa adhesive cleaner.
Storage of cloth tapes
Please store the AT 165 at a room temperature of approx. +12°C to +25°C and a maximum humidity of 60%. Use the cloth tape within 12 months of delivery. The cloth tape should not be exposed to direct sunlight. Keep each opened roll of adhesive tape in a clean, dry place until the next use.
