The double-sided tape transparent extra strong GT 706 is a double-sided self-adhesive universal film adhesive tape with very high adhesive strength.

The double-sided adhesive tape is characterised by its ultra-strong adhesive strength ( adhesive strength on steel 12 N/cm), offers excellent hold, especially on smooth surfaces, and is suitable for permanent bonding. Thanks to the transparent foil as a carrier, invisible fastening is possible .

The transparent double-sided adhesive tape can be used as carpet tape and installation tape for PVC or other floor coverings . Thanks to its high initial adhesion, can also be used as a strong assembly tape. The tape achieves good results when attaching signs, decorative objects and other materials that need to be fixed indoors or outdoors for short periods of time during production.

The tape has a stable foil carrier with a thickness of 12 to 14 mm. The foil can be torn by hand in a crosswise direction, and the carrier is protected on the roll by a siliconised white paper. Use of the transparent double-sided tape extra strong

This universal high-performance adhesive tape is versatile and offers excellent hold. Whether as carpet tape or installation tape for other floor coverings or for secure mounting, the double-sided adhesive film is extra strong and transparent, making the tape particularly inconspicuous. Double-sided film adhesive tapes of this quality are suitable for bonding to many surfaces. They adhere particularly well to smooth or finely structured surfaces, such as materials such as glass, mirrors and metal, which require high initial adhesive strength.

• Ensure that surfaces and substrates are clean, dry and free of dust before bonding.
• The tape rolls off the roll easily; do not touch the adhesive surfaces with your hands.
• After sticking: press the adhesive side of the tape firmly into place.
• The protective film can then be removed and the assembly/fastening can be carried out on the remaining side. Here too, please press the adhesive material firmly onto the adhesive tape.

Can the adhesive be removed without leaving any residue?

The extra-strong transparent double-sided adhesive tape is designed for permanent bonding. It can form a permanent bond with the substrate and leave discolouration. This applies in particular to sensitive surfaces such as untreated or painted wood, marble, natural stone, etc. The tape can cause colour changes and cannot be removed from most rough surfaces without leaving residue.
