The self-adhesive velcro tape is the perfect counterpart to the fleece tape. As a hook-and-loop fastener, the tape offers flexible fastening for fabrics and other decorations. The velcro tape is coated with a strong hot melt adhesive and is self-adhesive on the back. It adheres not only to various event textiles, but also to wood and many other smooth surfaces.

Fleece and hook and loop tape – versatile use
At events and trade fairs, a hook and loop fastener is the right choice for securing textiles such as stage coverings, photo backdrops, skirtings, wall coverings on exhibition walls and much more. Hook and loop tapes adhere reliably to most objects made of wood, metal or plastic and can therefore be used in a wide range of applications.
The fasteners made of hook and loop tape offer many advantages, especially in the theatre, film and concert sectors: Molton and a variety of other fabrics can not only be securely fastened, but also easily changed during events and repositioned or realigned. Velcro tape is not only ideal as a mounting material for stage design, but can also be used in catering or at trade fairs to attach skirting boards quickly and precisely.
Please note that for decorative and stage fabrics that are subject to heavy mechanical stress or strain, you should additionally sew the hook-and-loop tape (hook tape) in place for safety reasons.
Tips for optimal use of hook and loop tape
Our tapes are of high quality. This means that the fastening still works reliably even after repeated opening and closing. The hook and loop tape is easy to work with, can be cut to size and is easy to stick on. Please note the following details:
- Apply sufficient pressure to the tapes when closing, as this is the only way to achieve a reliable connection between the hook and loop elements.
- The hook and loop tape is coated with hot melt adhesive and is highly resistant to diluted acids and alkaline chemicals. To ensure strong adhesion, check that the surface to be bonded is free of oil, grease, moisture, dust or plasticisers.
Note: Please do not use the self-adhesive velcro tape on surfaces that contain high levels of plasticisers (especially oligomers). The adhesive on the back of the velcro tape may leak due to chemical reactions.
Removing self-adhesive velcro tape
Fleece and hook-and-loop tape, velour tape, hook-and-loop dots, etc. should be pulled off the surface slowly and without jerking. If adhesive residue remains after careful removal of the hook-and-loop tape, it can be removed with acetone, paraffin wax and cleaning solvent.
Important: Test the compatibility of the cleaning agents in advance on an inconspicuous area!
Storage of hook and loop tapes
Store the Velcro tape in a dry, dark and well-ventilated place at room temperature (20°C) until the next use to ensure that the strong adhesive force is retained for a long time.
