Cable velcro is particularly practical and is used at events, in the office and at home to bundle and organise cables. The cable velcro set in a practical bulk pack (100 pieces) helps to keep cable management clear at events. Microphone, speaker and other technical cables can be bundled quickly and without tools and can also be disconnected thanks to the velcro. And because cable velcro is reusable, there is less waste.
Cable Velcro consists of a soft fleece side (polyester ) and an adhesive side (nylon). The high-quality materials do not fluff and are odourless. When the two sides are joined, the hooks on the adhesive side catch in the loops on the fleece side. This results in the firm connection. With a tensile strength of up to 2.5 kg/cm², the cable Velcro has a high tensile strength, but is still easy to open by hand (holding force 300 g/cm²). The Velcro straps are available in black in two different sizes: 12.5 x 200 mm and 17.0 x 310 mm. The 200 mm Velcro straps have a bundle diameter of 59 cm. For the larger cable ties, this is 89 cm. A word about the tensile strength of plastic and Velcro cable ties: the tensile strength of cable Velcro is high for the material and sufficient for many applications. In this case, we recommend our standard plastic cable ties.
Note: If the hook and loop tape is used in mud, snow, sand or other dirty conditions , the adhesive properties are reduced because the hook and loop fastener can become dirty and closed.
