In a vertical burning test (V-test), the burning time and the falling off of burning parts of vertically clamped test specimens are evaluated. In addition, the cable ties are RoHS II compliant (EU Directive on the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
