The construction fence gate lock is a solution for temporarily locking the emergency exit on a construction fence. The escape route lock can be quickly opened from the inside, thus providing safety for visitors in dangerous situations. At the same time , the construction fence lock helps to protect the site from misuse and saves additional personnel costs.
The construction fence lock is attached to a standard construction fence using a clamp. The two tubes of the mobile construction fence are tied together with cable ties and then threaded through the bar. Once secured, the cable ties cannot be opened from the outside - access to the site is locked. However, thanks to a simple and easy-to-use lever on the door guard , the emergency exit can be opened from the inside in seconds in an emergency.
The construction fence gate lock in green/red is made of robust, weatherproof steel and measures 20 x 20 x 17 cm (HxWxD). The scope of delivery includes 20 cable ties (4.8 x 550 mm) and 2 safety screws incl. nut (M10) + clamp.

The construction fence gate lock is an easy-to-install construction fence lock and also provides perfect escape route security for construction fences.
The fence bar ensures extremely effective escape route security and cost-effective access control – without the need for constant monitoring by staff. The construction fence lock helps to prevent unauthorised persons from entering the site from outside – yet the emergency exit can be opened from the inside in seconds in dangerous situations .
At festivals and other events, emergency exits are usually formed by two construction fences with construction fence rolls, which are opened in an emergency. The problem: if the construction fences are not constantly guarded, misuse is difficult to prevent. The solution: the construction fence lock! With the door guard for construction fences, the emergency exits in the fence can be locked and can still be opened at any time in an emergency.
The construction fence gate lock can be attached to a standard construction fence in just a few simple steps. The two fences are connected to each other with a cable tie, which is also threaded through the lock. A lever with a sharp edge is attached to the construction fence gate lock itself, which cuts the cable tie in an instant when pressed.
Please note in the event of rescue measures, for example by the fire brigade: The bar can only be opened from the inside using the lever. A sticker on the bar provides information on correct handling. After opening once, the cut cable tie must be replaced.

For even more security, a seal or a break-proof seal can be attached. These products are not included in the scope of delivery. Alternatively, a coloured cable tie can be used as a seal. We recommend our coloured cable ties 100 mm x 2.5 mm, available in a set of 9 different colours.
Installation of the construction fence lock (construction fence lock)
The function is extremely simple. Installation is carried out from the inside by screwing the bolt to the left-hand side of the construction fence using a clamp and two M10 screws with nuts (included in delivery). Then the construction fence gate is closed. A cable tie is now tied around the two fence tubes and threaded through the bolt. Once the cable tie (20 pieces included in delivery) is tightened, the gate can no longer be opened.
In an emergency, press the red bolt against the construction fence to cut the cable tie and open the gate in seconds.
Please note: Always tighten the cable ties as tightly as possible to ensure that the bolt works properly. A loose cable tie is very difficult to cut, which delays the opening of the emergency exit.
