The Reflex Banner Emergency Exit impresses with its excellent reflective properties – not only in sunlight, but especially at night when illuminated by artificial light. The emergency exit banner complies with the internationally applicable DIN EN ISO 7010 standard and is made of high-quality, 500 g/m² PVC material (tarpaulin). The reflective banner is reinforced around the edges and has eyelets every 50 cm. The reflective coating (honeycomb foil) is designed so that mainly all white parts of the print offer good reflectivity. Depending on the angle of illumination, the green printed areas have a lower reflectivity value.
Reflective banner emergency exit – escape route sign by day and by night
Whether it's day or night, the opaque banner reliably marks the emergency exit. What makes this reflective banner special is a special reflective honeycomb film with high reflectivity. When illuminated in the dark, all the white surfaces below it provide an enormous reflective effect – similar to that of a traffic sign.
The reflecting banner is made of a durable, tear-resistant and weather-resistant material (PVC tarpaulin) and weighs 500 g/m². It is reinforced all around and delivered with eyelets every 50 cm. The print complies with DIN EN 7010 "Graphical symbols – safety colours and safety signs – registered safety signs" and is realised using high-resolution digital printing.

Important to know: the highest retro-reflectivity is provided by the white, i.e. the non-printed areas. These reflect the ambient light most strongly. A coloured imprint reduces the retro-reflective properties. This means that the honeycomb film loses a significant amount of its retro-reflectivity when printed in colour. Although the coloured areas are still visible, the reflective foils do not provide any significant safety benefit over the printed colour.

Mounting a reflective banner
A PVC tarpaulin of this grammage is relatively thick and also somewhat stiff. This makes it more likely that waves will form, and this should be taken into account during installation.
To prevent waves, the reflective banner should be tensioned with a high tensile force at all eyelets!
