Purchase the Mesh 201 wind protection fabric here in the shop as a 2 m × 50 m roll – an extra-coarse, highly permeable mesh fabric made from durable polyethylene (HDPE) in black and white.

The wind protection net has a weight of 125 g/m² and a mesh size of 5 mm × 5 mm, resulting in wind permeability of approximately 50% and a privacy value of around 50%. Thanks to its very open structure, the net provides sufficient protection without completely blocking the wind. This ensures that even when used over large areas, such as on grandstands, stages, or scaffolding, there is no closed surface for wind forces to act upon – sail effect is significantly reduced. While wind protection is lower than with finer meshes, the surface remains permanently stable and secure.

Mesh 201 is the wind protection fabric with the highest permeability and largest mesh size in our range. The fabric is UV-resistant for approximately 1–2 years (depending on exposure) and B1 flame-retardant certified to DIN 4102.

As a 50-metre roll, Mesh 201 is ideal for covering or draping large areas quickly, seamlessly, and efficiently. Compared to cut-to-length material, the roll format enables faster installation without joints, making it a clear advantage for extensive projects.
