In the outdoor event sector in particular, rubber mats with fabric inserts are almost a classic and a valued accessory that offer an inexpensive alternative to other non-slip floor coverings. Rubber mats with fabric insert
Compared to standard rubber mats, these rubber mats are reinforced with fabric and designed for continuous use or reuse. The fine mesh rubber mats made of SBR rubber have a longitudinal groove pattern on the surface. The underside, , has a non-slip studded coating,, which ensures a smooth surface with good grip on almost any surface.
Fine mesh rubber mats impress with their high elasticity, they are adaptable in shape, for example when laid over cables and hoses, and are particularly robust. The mats withstand high tensile and shear loads, they insulate and offer excellent mechanical and chemical resistance. Rubber mat with SBR rubber insert – properties
The fine mesh rubber mat made of SBR rubber (synthetic rubber) is particularly tear-resistant and hard-wearing thanks to its fabric insert and is therefore intended for reuse/continuous use. Excellent elasticity and adaptability make the mat an ideal accessory and versatile in use. R ubber sheets of this quality have special mechanical and physical properties. The fine mesh rubber mats impress with their excellent abrasion resistance, while SBR rubber is chemically resistant to moisture (water), alcohols, alkalis and acids.

With permanent outdoor use, extreme temperature fluctuations and UV exposure can make the material of the rubber mats (SBR rubber) brittle over time.

Fine mesh rubber mats with fabric insert proven in a variety of applications
The rubber mat with fabric insert has a wide range of applications. The rubber mats can be used indoors and outdoors, for example as anti-slip mats for entrance areas, as fall protection mats, workplace mats and floor protection mats. Cut-to-size mats are also popular as stair mats.
In the event sector, the rubber mats are mainly used as
- anti-slip mats to prevent barricades and barriers from slipping.

Note: Rubber mats provide reliable insulation. Important: However, the mats do not provide adequate protection against voltage flashovers after electrical discharge!
Furthermore, fine mesh rubber mats should not be used in areas where food is present. The recommended temperature range (-40°C to +120°C) may be exceeded for short periods, but this can make the mats porous.
Sticking rubber mats rolls
Thanks to the nubs on the back and their own weight, the rubber mats lie flat and securely on many floors and already offer excellent adhesion. Optionally, the mats can be additionally bonded, either over the entire surface or only at the side edges with adhesive tape. For this purpose, we recommend the GT 561 adhesive cloth tape in black or the GT 571 in black.
Storing and cleaning rubber mats
Please store fine mesh rubber mats flat and rolled up. If stored carefully, the rubber mats with inserts retain their shape and lie flat again when reused.
When cleaning the fine mesh rubber mats, please ensure that you do not use any harsh cleaning agents, as these could make the rubber brittle.
