Unigrip PVC flooring is a non-slip floor covering for events and is classified as R10 according to BGR 181. To meet the requirements for non-slip floor coverings, the PVC floor has a structured, PU-coated surface. You can buy the high-quality PVC slip-resistant in 10 colours, on a roll, 30 metres long.
The non-slip floor covering has the following properties:
: The PVC floor is a high-quality, temporary floor covering for events. The PVC floor is not designed for permanent installation or long-term use.
The PVC floor covering is characterised by its structured, PU-coated surface, which makes it slip-resistant to R10. But what does PU-coated actually mean?
During surface treatment, surfaces are coated or impregnated. Allbuyone's PVC Unigrip is given a polyurethane coating during production. This results in the following advantages:
The German Workplace Ordinance stipulates that floor coverings must be slip-resistant. The BG rule BGR 181 specifies the area of application for slip-resistant floors. The BG rule is binding for all public institutions and businesses. If it is not complied with, insurance cover will not apply in the event of an accident.
The procedure for testing the slip resistance of floors is regulated in DIN 51130, with floors being categorised into the rating groups R9 to R13. R9 floors have the lowest slip resistance, while R13 floors have the highest.
Allbuyone's PVC floor covering is classified as R10, which stands for an increased static friction value, the floor covering is slip-resistant up to an angle of inclination of 10° to 19°.
The scope of application of BG rule BGR 181 includes rooms and work areas where slippery substances can get onto the floor and increase the risk of slipping. Slippery substances include: grease, oil, water, food or food residues.
In the event industry, these rooms include:
objects or particularly hard materials that exert a high point load can damage the PVC surface. The PVC floor can also become slippery when wet.
Dust can be removed by damp mopping. For more stubborn stains, we recommend a special cleaner for PVC floor coverings.
: A large proportion of dirt can be caught in the entrance area by clean-running mats before entering the floors.
