The PVC tape AT 208 is an extremely stretchable, matt adhesive tape from the Advance Tapes brand. The adhesive tape is particularly thin (tape thickness: 0.13 mm) and extremely elastic, it is very adaptable to different shapes and fits particularly well to edges and transitions – for example, from Marley Floor, PVC dance floors and the like. The abrasion-resistant adhesive tape also impresses with its high tear resistance. The smooth, matt surface is waterproof and the tape is suitable for outdoor and indoor use.
The tape has a pressure-sensitive, non-corrosive adhesive with medium immediate adhesion and medium adhesive strength (adhesive strength on steel 2.4 N/cm). This allows for short-term correction of the bond during processing. The adhesive tapes can be removed from smooth surfaces without leaving any residue for approx. 48 hours. The dance floor tape is flame retardant (self-extinguishing) and certified according to DIN EN 60454-3-1 / Type 2.

PVC Band AT 208 – an extremely elastic adhesive tape for dance floors
The PVC band AT 208 is a high-quality, very elastic and adaptable tape from Advance Tapes. It is ideal for bonding the edges of floor coverings such as Marley Floor and PVC event floors and dance floors. The adhesive tape is flame retardant and waterproof when applied, and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use (e.g. outdoor stages). Thanks to the matt, non-reflective surface, the adhesive tapes also allow for optimal illumination without disturbing reflections.

Mouldable tape for all floor coverings
Our adhesive tape, with its medium initial tack and medium adhesive strength, is ideal for temporarily connecting different floor coverings such as Marley or PVC floors etc. and securely bonding their edges – this significantly reduces the risk of tripping at the edge of the floor. The medium initial tack also allows for a brief correction of the bond during processing. Thanks to its extremely high elasticity of approx. 180%, the adhesive tape adapts perfectly to edges and transitions and provides excellent cushioning for impacts and movements caused by footsteps. In addition, the matt surface absorbs rather than reflects incident spotlight light, enabling even illumination of the floors. After use, the adhesive tape can easily be removed from the floor (leaving no residue for approx. 48 hours).

PVC tape – tips for applying
The tape is equipped with a pressure-sensitive adhesive, so you should press it on firmly when applying it. The optimum application temperature is between 0°C and +40°C; however, the adhesive tapes can withstand temporary temperature peaks between -5°C and +70°C without loss of performance.

Storing adhesive tapes
It is best to store the tapes in their original packaging for a maximum of 12 months to preserve the adhesive and bonding properties as fully as possible. Adhesive tape should be stored away from water and light at a temperature of approx. +12°C to +25°C and a maximum of 60% humidity.
