The escape route flag has an emergency exit pictogram with a downward direction arrow in white and is printed in green over the entire surface. The flag without poles for escape route marking is made of weather- and UV-resistant material (flag fabric 110 g/m²) and is robust and durable. Emergency exit replacement flag – material and packaging

The construction fence and container flag emergency exit is flame retardant B1 certified according to DIN 4102 B1 and complies with fire safety regulations. The flags can therefore also be used at indoor events.

Construction fence/container flag made of flag fabric 110 g/m²

The flag is made of flag fabric, a material with a grammage of 110 g/m², which is tear-resistant and particularly durable. The container and construction fence flag has a silk matt and non-reflective surface. In addition, the flag fabric is weather and UV resistant (0.5 - 2 years depending on exposure) as well as wind permeable (30%) and has high light transmission.

The emergency exit pictogram is printed in high resolution and with intense colours. Due to the flag's approx. 60% print-through ( ), the print is visible on both sides (mirror-inverted on the reverse side and with slightly less intense colours).

The flag for containers and construction site fences also complies with fire safety regulations (B1 certification according to DIN 4102) and is also suitable for indoor use.

Construction fences and containers with safety markings – standards and regulations

Escape routes, emergency exits and rescue routes as well as first aid facilities must be clearly visible and understandable to everyone. The affixing and use of safety signs and their graphic representation is regulated in Germany by the regulations of the professional associations. Since 2012, the ASR has regulated the labelling requirements for rescue signs. The Europe-wide DIN EN ISO 7010 standard regulates the uniform appearance and internationally understandable marking of escape routes and safety signs. DIN EN ISO 7010 replaces the previously valid DIN 4844 (BGV A8) standard for rescue signs.

Rescue signs in accordance with the old DIN standard are grandfathered and may continue to be used. Only the mixing of old and new pictograms should be avoided for insurance reasons.

What are rescue signs?
