Type 202 mesh is a mesh fabric with 37% wind permeability and a coarse-meshed, open structure. With an opacity of approx. 65%, 202 mesh has an average level of privacy protection. To meet the strict safety requirements in the event sector, the mesh is flame retardant and certified B1 according to DIN 4102. The plastic mesh weighs 140 g/m² and is available in black and white.
PE mesh – properties
The PE mesh is a mesh fabric made of HDPE (high-density polyethylene) with the following properties:
- B1 flame retardant according to DIN 4102
- weather resistant
- rot-resistant
- extremely tear-resistant and dimensionally stable
- UV-stabilised (approx. 1-2 years)
- water-repellent
- resistant to alcohol, oil, alkalis, acids and petrol
- Temperature resistance: approx. -30°C to +90°C
- Heat distortion temperature: approx. 100 °C
- Wind permeability approx. 37%
- Weight: 140 g/m²

- hollow seam laid flat 5 cm
- hemmed

Please note:
- dimensional tolerances of +/- 5% are due to technical reasons and depend on temperature and humidity.
- Due to the partially automated manufacturing process, the eyelets on opposite edges are usually not arranged symmetrically. If you require a symmetrical or individual arrangement of the eyelets, we can implement this for an extra charge. Please send us a separate request and a corresponding sketch.
