Hoist flags in landscape format 200 x 120 cm

Whether advertising flags for the open-air grounds, hoist flags in front of the exhibition hall or as a company flag – with the hoist flag in landscape format 200 x 120 cm, you are ordering a versatile, high-quality flag!

The material – 110 g/m² polyester flag fabric – impresses with its light and airy weight, but is also mesh-free, hard-wearing and robust. The fabric is flame retardant B1 certified (DIN 4102) and is weather resistant and UV stable for 0.5 - 2 years, as well as being very light permeable and approx. 30% wind permeable.

We print hoist flags single-sided in 6c digital print, colour-intensive and with perfect print through of 60%. Your motif is thus clearly visible on both sides.

Regarding the finishing: the horizontal format flags are double-stitched on the two long sides and one short side, so the flags are stable even in stronger winds. On the left side (pole side), the flag can be optionally equipped with eyelets every 40 cm or with a plastic snap hook. We recommend the horizontal hoist flag for masts of approx. 6-8 m in height, without outriggers.

Information about the material: flag fabric

We make our horizontal format flags from high-quality flag fabric that is 110 g/m² thick. This durable material is specially designed to meet the requirements of flags.

Flag fabric is a very light yet highly stable polyester fabric with excellent weather resistance and many other good properties:

Note: The information on weather and UV resistance was determined in studies under Central European conditions. When used in regions with different climatic conditions (high humidity, strong UV radiation), such as in southern European countries, tropical areas and desert regions, as well as in areas with heavy air pollution or at high altitudes, a faster ageing process is possible.

Landscape format flags for flagpoles without outriggers

The horizontal format flag is suitable for flagpoles without outriggers, with a height of 6 to 8 metres. The flag is optionally equipped with eyelets or snap hooks at 40 cm intervals for attachment to the pole.

How weather-resistant are flags?

Flag fabric is a material that is light but also very stable and weatherproof, and is of the highest quality.

Many manufacturers give a general warranty of three years for UV and weather resistance. This is realistic for indoor use, but not always for outdoor use. Hoisted flags are among the textiles that are physically subjected to the greatest stress. Flags are exposed to sun, wind and weather over long periods of time and at a height of around 10 metres. A lifespan of three years is not realistic here; factors such as weather and strong winds can cause material wear sooner or later, depending on the location. It is therefore difficult to make a general statement about how weather-resistant a flag is. To be on the safe side, we therefore specify 0.5 - 2 years.

Have advertising flags individually printed in the highest quality

Printing on fabrics generally delivers very high-quality, colour-intensive results because textile materials are very absorbent. We print the flag fabric in our event print shop using high-resolution 6c digital printing (thermosublimation printing). In this printing process, the ink is printed onto the fabric and then the colour is evaporated under heat. This results in a print image with intense colours and perfect print-through of approx. 60%.

The horizontal flag is printed on one side, but due to the print through, the print motif is also perfectly recognisable on the back, albeit mirror-inverted and with slightly less intense colours. How well the motif can ultimately be seen on the back also depends on the lighting and the angle of the light.
The surface of flag fabric is silk matt and does not reflect.

Useful tips for care and storage

The hoisted flag made of polyester fabric is generally easy to care for; the flag fabric is washable at 30°C (fine detergent, gentle cycle). Any wrinkles can be ironed out. However, please note: the flame retardancy may be lost through washing and ironing. The flag is only B1 according to DIN 4102 again if it is professionally impregnated with the correct flame retardants.

For a crease-free storage, we recommend folding or rolling up the flag loosely. Also, make sure that the fabric is completely dry before storage to avoid mould growth.
