Safety is a top priority at festivals, concerts and other public events. Gigs stage barriers enable danger areas to be cordoned off and visitor areas to be restricted and are also used as secure entrance gates. An important and frequently used module is the multicore barricade. This element has the same dimensions as the GIGS stage barricade standard, with a length of 1.09 m, a width of 1.25 m and a height of 1.18 m. The weight of a multicore passage is approximately 40 kg. The special feature of this barricade is the opening in the lower section (approx. 0.80 x 0.15 m). The recess for cables and wires allows a connection from, for example, FOH to the stage through the closed barricade. The multicore barricade is designed so that this element can also withstand high audience pressure with ease.

Multicore Barricade – Gigs stage barricade with cable access and much more
Gigs stage barricades are used at events all over the world and are highly valued by organisers. The quick and easy-to-connect, highly solid barrier system enables countless possible combinations. With the different elements, which are all compatible with each other, the right barrier is guaranteed for every stage or event architecture.
The Multicore Barricade is used when a passage is needed in the barricade row. This makes it easy to route cables and other connections through the stage barricades. The Multicore is 1.09 m wide, 1.25 m deep and 1.18 m high. The recess in the element measures approx. 15 x 80 cm. In the new multicore barricades, the base plate has been removed in the middle to create additional space for cable protectors. The weight of this element is approx. 40 kg. The matching transport dollies can hold 10 or 6 of them, respectively, for easy transport. As an alternative, we also offer the Multicore Gate (MAG), which has a gate that can be opened in both directions.
