The escape route banner has a reflective surface and glows when exposed to light during the day and also in the dark – ideal for clearly marking escape routes at events. The reflective banner consists of a high-quality PVC tarpaulin with 500 g/m², which is coated with a reflective honeycomb film. When exposed to sunlight and artificial light, the white areas of the banner reflect back with excellent reflectivity, while the green areas reflect less strongly.
The banner is printed with the emergency exit pictogram and complies with the internationally applicable DIN EN ISO 7010 (ASR A1.3) standard. The base material of the banner is a micro-prismatic reflective foil, with the pictogram printed on it in green. The green part loses a significant amount of its reflective power due to the print. By contrast, the white (unprinted) areas reflect ambient light very strongly, increasing the visibility of the banner.

Installing an emergency exit banner – here's how it's done
At 500 g/m², the banner is relatively heavy. This makes the PVC tarpaulin stable and robust, but also somewhat stiff. To avoid waves forming, the banner must be attached cleanly and tightly.
To do this, we strongly recommend attaching the banner to all eyelets using cable ties or similar. A high pulling force when attaching also ensures smooth attachment.
