Planning escape routes is an important part of the safety concept for an event, and there are various accessories for marking them. For larger events, festivals, etc., fence tarp with rescue signs are often used for clearly visible signage of escape routes.

Wherever site fences are too large and PVC signs are too small, the escape route banner measuring 1.30 m x 0.65 m is ideal. It is ideal for attaching to police grids, barrier banners, tent exits, etc. and is clearly visible even from a distance. What makes this banner special is the material used to make it: a reflective honeycomb film with high reflectivity. When illuminated, the white surfaces reflect light – similar to a road sign. This makes the emergency exit clearly visible, both indoors and outdoors, day and night.

The reflective banner with escape route signs made of high-quality PVC tarpaulin is a combination sign according to DIN EN ISO 7010 (ASR A1.3), it has eyelets at the top and bottom of the long sides, is weather-resistant and waterproof.

Are you looking for a larger escape route banner for a construction fence? You can also order the Reflex Banner in our shop in a size of 3.39 x 1.74 m, which is perfectly suited for a standard mobile construction fence.

banner emergency exit - technical data and details

The base material of the banner is a micro-prismatic reflective foil, with the pictogram printed on it in green. The green part loses a significant amount of its reflective power due to the print. By contrast, the white (unprinted) areas reflect ambient light very strongly, increasing the visibility of the banner.

Clearly marking escape routes – areas of application for banners

With a size of 1.30 m x 0.65 m (length x width), the small emergency exit banners are suitable wherever fence banners are too large, e.g. for:

• police grids
• Mannesmann barriers / safety barriers
• other low fences
• tent exits
• and much more.

Other products for emergency exit signage: fence tarp, signs and much more.

Installing an emergency exit banner – here's how it's done

At 500 g/m², the banner is relatively heavy. This makes the PVC tarpaulin stable and robust, but also somewhat stiff. To avoid waves forming, the banner must be attached cleanly and tightly.

To do this, we strongly recommend attaching the banner to all eyelets using cable ties or similar. A high pulling force when attaching also ensures smooth attachment.
