Print honeycomb plate
More stable than multi-wall sheets, yet thin and just as lightweight: the hollow chamber plate with honeycomb structure is the stable version of hollow chamber plates.
As the name suggests, the honeycomb plate has a honeycomb structure between two PP plates, similar to a honeycomb. This makes the plate more stable than hollow chamber plates with a longitudinal groove structure and resistant to bending, despite a thickness of only 2.8 mm.
The printed sheet is weatherproof and UV-resistant and is mainly used as an outdoor material, an inexpensive material for short to medium-term use, for example for circus posters, election posters, temporary advertising signs and for signage at sporting events and other events.
We print honeycomb panels using 6c digital printing. The smooth, matt surface enables high-quality printing with intense colours and clear edges.

Have honeycomb plates printed individually – it's quick and easy with our configurator. Here is a brief overview of the ordering process:
- Give each individual panel a name (optional) – this name will appear on all documents and you will always have an overview.
- Specify the width and height.
- Select the desired finishing for the top, bottom and side edges – there are various standard finishes to choose from.
- Save the product.
- Then add your finished panel to your shopping basket and complete your purchase or add another item.
- After successful purchase, you will receive an order confirmation for your honeycomb panel and a link to our data sheet, which contains important information regarding the layout and transmission of your print data.
- You will then receive a second email with an order confirmation and a personalised link for uploading your print data.
- The order confirmation also contains the expected delivery date*.
- We will check your data for printability. We will automatically correct minor corrections for you. If the resolution or similar is incorrect, we will actively contact you. This service is free of charge for you!
- Once the data is correct, your products will go to print.
- The honeycomb panels will be shipped to you after production.
*Exception for prepayment: In this case, we will only start production of your printed materials after receipt of payment. The delivery date is therefore dependent on receipt of payment.

Details on the print quality of the hollow chamber plate with honeycomb structure
The honeycomb plate has a smooth surface structure and can be printed well with rich colour reproduction in. Only with very small motifs is the print not absolutely detailed. We print honeycomb plates on one side using 6c digital printing. The plates have a maximum size of 1.30 m x 1.80 m, and the max. plate size including print and cutting is 1.25 m x 1.75 m.
Double-sided printing is also available on request.
Honeycomb panel finishing: cut to size
We cut the honeycomb plates to size. The maximum size of a plate is 1.75 m x 1.25 m (printed, including cutting), the minimum size is 20 cm x 20 cm. We will be happy to calculate smaller formats for you on request.
Would you like the plates to be contour cut? Contour cutting is not recommended for honeycomb plates because the honeycomb structure does not allow for clean edges. For contour-cut plates, we recommend Forex or Alu Dibond.

- Cable ties – a hole can be punched through the panel for fastening with cable ties.

The honeycomb panels are available with pre-drilled holes on request !
Information on storage and transport
The honeycomb panels are fitted with edge protection for transport, which provides better protection against bending.
Honeycomb panels are inexpensive panels that are usually manufactured for single use and then disposed of. However, there is generally no reason why they cannot be reused. Ensure that they are stored in a dry place and that the panels are not bent.
What alternatives are there to honeycomb panels?
In addition to honeycomb panels, we have various other panel materials in our range. Honeycomb panels are an inexpensive, lightweight material for short to medium-term use.
Our cheapest material for panels is hollow chamber plates (web plates), which are similar in structure to honeycomb panels but have a simple longitudinal groove structure instead of a honeycomb structure. This makes the material more susceptible to creasing, but ideal and completely sufficient for election posters, event announcements and simple festival signage.
The Forex hard foam plates and the non-flammable Alu Dibond plates are much more stable and suitable for medium to long-term use.
