Printed lanyards are available in different widths (10 mm, 15 mm or 20 mm straps) and with a choice of 2 different hooks: standard carabiner or oval carabiner. Additional accessories are available as options: you can also order the printed lanyards with a safety clip and a buckle. Further hooks and pendants are available on request.

Printed lanyards – quality that impresses: The high-thread-count woven lanyard made of 100% polyester is supplied with carefully sewn edges, the ends of which are additionally welded for safety. Both the material and the print are extremely durable. The high-quality workmanship of the printed lanyards is not only visible, but also noticeable on the skin – the strap is soft and impresses with its high level of comfort.

Print data guidelines for creating the print: Lanyards printed

To ensure that the print appears exactly as desired on the printed lanyards, please follow our print data guidelines carefully when creating the print file. This is the only way we can guarantee high-quality printing. Once the lanyards have been printed, they are custom-made. The products are then excluded from exchange.

File format

We require the print data in PDF/X-4 format. The correct output condition is the colour profile ISOCoated v2 (eci).

Important to know: Special feature for double-sided printing

For admission wristbands printed on both sides, please note that the reverse side can only be printed in a single colour or with a uniform, repeating pattern. For technical reasons, individual content cannot be placed precisely here. The exact arrangement and cut of the motifs on the reverse side of each wristband are random.

Colours

Please create the document exclusively in CMYK colours and in CMYK colour mode. This is important to note, as monitors generally display colours in RGB mode.
Data in RGB, Lab or special colours will be automatically converted to CMYK. This can result in significant colour deviations.

Some of our customers request printed lanyards in gold, silver or metallic colours. Unfortunately, printing these colours is not possible with 4c printing.

However, we offer woven lanyards as an alternative. This is because metallic, gold and silver threads can be used when lanyards are woven. This makes it easy to produce popular VIP key lanyards, for example.

As colour reproduction in digital printing can be influenced by several factors, colour accuracy can only be guaranteed by a proof (pre-print) agreed in advance. Do you have specific colour values for your CI colours (company colours) or would you like to be absolutely sure about the colour design on this material? Then please contact us and we will be happy to check the options available.

Fonts & elements embedded/pathed

All fonts and elements must be embedded in the print file. Fonts can also be converted directly into paths. Make sure that text and fine lines are created in pure black. For example, 100% black, 0% yellow, 0% magenta, 0% cyan.

Print data check: Basic print data check or personal graphics service

We cannot guarantee the output quality of your prints. To be absolutely sure that the print data has been created correctly, you can book the basic print data check or personal support from one of our graphic designers.

Basic print data check – have important printability criteria checked
Do you have little experience in creating print-ready data? Would you like to have the most important points of the print data you have sent checked again? For only £5.90, you can add a basic print data check to your shopping basket separately.

Personal graphic design service – full support from a graphic designer
Do you have a precise idea of how you want your printed lanyards to look? A graphic designer will be happy to help you with the complete implementation of the print data creation. We charge for this service according to the time required. The cost for this is £44.50 per half hour or part thereof.

The right carabiner hook

At the bottom end, the printed lanyards come with one of two hooks as standard:

• Standard carabiner
• Oval carabiner

Each model is designed so that the lower link can rotate freely from the upper part. This has the advantage that the lanyard or an attached ID card holder or name tag is clearly legible at all times.

Please note: This image is for illustration purposes only. The image is not to scale. The key ring shown here is 20 mm wide. The carabiner hooks on the 15 and 10 mm versions are proportionally smaller to match the width of the strap.

Optional accessories: safety lock and/or clip

O rder the printed lanyard in the standard version including hook. If you would like to add an extra feature to your promotional item, you can add a buckle and/or a safety fastener to the lanyard:

Plastic safety fastener for the neck

Our key lanyards can also be equipped with the Safety Clip,, a safety fastener that is worn at the back of the neck.

This offers the following advantages, for example at sporting events: The plastic safety fastener is held together by a press stud – if the lanyard is pulled sharply or strongly, the fastener releases automatically.

The automatic fastener ensures that athletes, staff, visitors or customers cannot injure themselves.

Plug-in buckle: practical accessory for keys and much more.

The clip buckle is a quick-release fastener, which is attached to the lower end of the lanyard. The clip/buckle separates the strap into two parts and can be opened quickly and easily with just two fingers.

Advantages of the practical clip buckle: Thanks to the clip, the entire lanyard does not have to be removed over the head. Keys, cards, USB sticks and other items attached to the end of the strap can be conveniently and easily removed from the rest of the strap using the clip.

Additional accessories: hooks, key ring, ID card holder and bag, and much more.

An ID card holder and perforated tickets and passes can be attached directly to the lanyard on both standard hooks. Do you require special accessories? No problem, please contact us. Bags, a key ring, loops, clips, etc. are available on request at any time.
