The extra-wide GT 571 adhesive tape – a universal tape for a range of applications

An extra-wide, extra-strong cloth tape for a range of applications. Whether you're bundling, sealing, repairing, mounting or installing – the extra-wide cloth carrier can be stuck onto smooth surfaces without wrinkles. Thanks to the very fine-mesh fabric, the adhesive tape also clings snugly when masking structured or uneven surfaces. The natural rubber adhesive film (non-corrosive, pressure-sensitive) guarantees high initial adhesion with a very high adhesive force of 6 N/cm, but can still be removed without residue for up to 48 hours.

Whether on an exhibition floor or asphalt, the wide tape in bright colours is perfect for marking temporary areas such as parking or assembly areas, car parks, driveways, walkways, etc.

The 0.3 mm thick cloth tape is coated with polyethylene and is therefore very robust. The extra-wide cloth tape is waterproof, abrasion-resistant and has a high tear strength! What is a non-corrosive adhesive?

Adhesives can often cause damage due to certain ingredients. Such corrosive adhesives can bond with the respective substrate, e.g. due to heat or other environmental influences, and cause discolouration or structural damage. Thanks to the non-corrosive adhesive made of natural rubber, this risk does not exist with the GT 571 cloth tape.

Information on bonding with adhesive cloth tape

The recommended temperature for using the extra-wide assembly tape is between +10° C and +45° C. Caution: Never touch the adhesive surface with your fingers during application! For optimal adhesion, stick the cloth tape onto a clean, dust-free surface and press it on firmly. This will give you maximum adhesive performance.

Please store the professional adhesive cloth tapes at normal humidity in a cool room at approx. +12° C to +25° C, preferably in the original packaging. This will ensure that the cloth tape continues to stick as specified. Generally speaking, protect the gaffer tape from direct sunlight, moisture and other weather conditions.
