The GT PRO cloth tape, measuring 50 mm x 25 m , is the widest tape in our popular GT PRO range. The GT PRO Gaffa Tapes are high-end tapes from our own brand GRIP Eventbasics, which impress with their high quality and premium workmanship. We have the GT PRO Premium Tape in 8 colours in our range: black, white, grey, neon blue, neon yellow, neon green, neon orange and neon pink.
GT PRO is a non-reflective adhesive cloth tape with a very fine fabric. It is copolymer-coated and completely matte – perfect for use in stage construction, theatre, photography and similar applications. The adhesive cloth tape is also extremely tear-resistant (breaking load 80 N/cm) and particularly adaptable to different shapes. The adhesive – a natural rubber adhesive – also has excellent properties: GT PRO cloth tape offers high immediate adhesion and high adhesive strength (4 N/cm) and is also suitable for sensitive surfaces. It can be removed without leaving any residue for up to 3 weeks.
Another practical feature is that the tape can be torn easily and precisely by hand, both lengthwise and crosswise, with clean edges.

GT PRO Gaffa Tape Matte - 50 mm x 25 m
GT PRO Gaffa Tape Matte is a premium tape of the highest quality and with excellent properties. Among other things, the gaffa tape offers good abrasion resistance, extremely high tear resistance and excellent adhesive properties. The tape can be applied without wrinkles, adheres even to uneven surfaces and is also suitable for sensitive surfaces thanks to the use of natural rubber. If applied incorrectly, the cloth tape can be repositioned, and it can be removed without leaving any residue for up to three weeks (depending on the surface and weather conditions).
The non-reflective surface is another reason why the tape is not only very popular in the event industry.
In addition to the classic black, grey and white, we also offer GT PRO Gaffa in five fluorescent neon colours: neon yellow, neon green, neon blue, neon orange and neon pink. These colours are ideal for marking devices, cables, stage positions, etc. They glow perfectly under black light (UV light). Incidentally, all tapes can also be easily labelled.

GT PRO Gaffa matte – premium tape for a variety of uses

How to properly apply, remove and store GT PRO Gaffa matt
GT PRO offers the best adhesive properties, but for optimal adhesion, the following points should be observed:
- Do not touch the surfaces to be bonded with your hands
- Always test the adhesion first*
- For optimal immediate adhesion: press on gaffa tape firmly
- Ensure an optimal application temperature (approx. +18°C to +22°C)
- Removal: slowly and evenly pull off the adhesive tape at an 80° angle
- Store: dry and protected from light, ideally in the original packaging, if available (max. 12 months)
To do this, stick a piece of cloth tape on a small area of the original substrate.
